RTE Toolbar Bug in Chrome 56/57

Asked on March 1, 2017 in Troubleshooting.

I have been experiencing an issue in Google Chrome 56 and 57 on 4 of my sites each running Layers WP 1.6.5. I have been able to replicate this issue on one other Mac in Chrome 56.

When a widget is expanded within customizer and the text area is clicked on to reveal the RTE toolbar, it does not remain in place but instead scrolls down the page. After messing around within Inspect Element, I have narrowed the issue down to a line of CSS pertaining to .fr sticky . When position:sticky is turned off, the toolbar stays where it is supposed to during a scroll, and I notice that .fr toolbar gets a position:relative.

I recorded a short screen recording of what I am seeing that can be seen here: https://youtu.be/B6Oez-M3enE

Looks like this is a known bug with toolbar sticky in Froala: https://www.froala.com/wysiwyg-editor/changelog#2.4.2

I downloaded the latest version of Froala and replaced my editor.css file in core>assets>plugins>froala and it seems to have fixed my problem.
