Removing the Read More Button (NOT Tag)
A friend was helping me build my site earlier this year and I think he found a setting that inserts a “Read More” button on each post without user interaction. This is NOT the Read More tag, the tag is not used on any of the posts listed on the below page. Two of the posts are simply embedded PDFs that I would prefer to display on the page rather than hide behind a “Read More” button. I would like to remove this setting but my friend does not remember where he did it. I’ve gone through each option in the left menu in the dashboard and cannot locate what might have activated this button. Can anyone assist? Thanks!
For example the Duck Dinner post simply contains [pdf-embedder url=”http://www.sokolmn.org/sokol_new/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/duck-dinner.pdf”] in the post body – there is no tag included.
Hey ,
You can find it at : Customiser -> Blog -> Archive -> uncheck ‘Read More’ Button.
That will remove the button.

Thanks Dieter! Do you know if that option is only available in Layers Pro? Unless I’m looking in the wrong place, I don’t have that option.
