How to remove space below footer – make footer stick to bottom

Asked on January 26, 2016 in Customization.

Hi,
how can I remove the space below the footer?
the body of the page has almost no content (just a few lines) and I know that is causing the problem. Is there a (an elegant) way to “push down” the footer till the end of the window size?

thanks

Hi there,

There is no real good way to do this that doesn’t force your footer to stick to the bottom of the browser all the time (which means it overlaps page content on scroll). My recommendation is to set a minimu height for your content so it is always at least as tall as the screen when viewed on a tablet or desktop monitor. Example:

@media only screen and (min-device-width: 768px)  and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1) {
.wrapper-content{min-height: 800px;}
}
