Logo size in Layers 1.5

Asked on April 24, 2016 in Troubleshooting.

I can’t seem to adjust the size of the header logo after upgrading Layers to 1.5.

At first the logo disappeared. Then I set it again in Customizer so it reappeared, but changing the Logo Size option seems to have no effect. It was at Small before and I’d like to make it Small again.

Also, I just enabled Layers Messenger, and my understanding is that a blue circle icon should appear at the lower right. I don’t see it.

Hi ,

I have the same problem.
for the layers messenger normally you should see it when you go to your dashboard.
go to the layers section , if it is not there try to enable it again.

    Hey ,

i found a solution IF you have Layers Pro
go to themeforest and login and download the latest version download all files & documentation.

i saw that the layers pro on my sites was 1.5 and the new one 1.6 i didn’t get a themeforest update mail (i have it enabled)
delete layers pro on your site and upload the 1.6 version , then go to site settings and uncheck header text and select logo again and choose your size again than it was for me a big logo again.

With layers 1.5 – Layers pro 1.6 and WordPress 4.5

Thanks! I didn’t even realize there had been updates, I was still at Layers Pro 1.0! I updated to 1.6 and it fixed the issue, BUT I had to use Custom size to change the size. All the preset sizes gave the exact same size. So I think it still has issues, at least for my site. Also using Layers 1.5 and WordPress 4.5.

    Hi everyone,

The latest version of Layers Pro is 1.6.2  please ensure you have updated. If you got Layers Pro in a bundle, please contact us on Layers Messenger from your Layers admin and we can send you a copy of the updated file.
The preset sizes will be ignored if your logo is smaller than the size’s preset threshold.
