LayersWP and WP – multisite

Asked on February 29, 2016 in Troubleshooting.

We’re having issues with WordPress multisite and Layers.  Our hosting provider is saying that there are long running queries that are triggering their slow process script to kill things, which is throwing 500 errors. (taking more than 120 seconds to complete). Content is being deleted, pages stop loading, etc…

Has anyone run into issues with Layers on a multi-site setup?  Here are the errors we’re seeing in the log

    Hi there,

We have seen this specifically with wp-engine. I have not experienced it on AWS (hosting this site running multisite( Flywheel (running our demos and or BlueHost (running my own and other user multisites)

Thanks ! Any work arounds to decrease footprint? The site it turning out to be pretty big that we are working on.  besides working in multi-site.

Anything we can do to improve the performance? We just hit this same problem a second time after creating about another 100 pages. There’s gotta be something we can do to minimize usage.

widget_layers-widget-column function is the them is loading over 3MB of data. That’s what’s causing the problems. Any way to optimize that at all?
