How can replace or remove the featured image within a post?

Asked on August 18, 2015 in General Questions.

I want my featured image to show in my articles when they are read on Feedly.com, but Feedly does not pull from the “featured image,” only from the post content. So I need to included my featured image within the post, without showing both the featured image and post image because they are the same. The pages in question are mfcwna.com/blog and http://www.mfcwna.com/mfcwna-logo/

So far I have tried,

-removing the featured image from the post and turning on “preview content” from the post widget, but it didn’t show the image from the post, and the thumbnail was not visible at all on the published blog page.

-following the help topic here http://docs.layerswp.com/help/question/10694/dont-want-to-show-featured-image-inside-the-post-and-configure-posts-widget/ but the URL publishes as text rather than an image (or a video).

Hi there,
It looks like Feedly  goes from pure RSS content, so if you install a plugin that adds featured images to your RSS feeds, it should solve it
