How can I customize the Site Title and Tagline?

Under the “Site Settings” tab, and “Logo & Title” is there any way to customize the Site Title and Tagline such as with HTML or CSS?

I want to have two different colors in Site Title.

I tried HTML and is successful on preview, but upon saving changes it to PLACEHOLDER <text style=”color:#FFB700″>PLACEHOLDER</text> on the page.
