Header Menu

Asked on September 23, 2016 in Customization.

Very new to Layers.

I’ve been using Headway and Ultimatum for a number of years now, so forgive me if my question is a bit dumb… hard to break the thinking in terms of the workflow I’ve gotten used to.

So it seems that a menu is automatically added to the header.

I don’t want a menu there, so I’ve created a custom menu and have it located under the header. However I cannot find where to rid the header of the menu within it.

The menu within the header is not located under Appearance -> Menus

Its also not within the Customizer.

Since this is just a test site on my local server meant to allow me to become familiarized with Layers, I have only a funtions.php and style.css in the child theme I made.  Am I going to have to make a header.php to rid myself of this auto generated menu, or is there another more obvious method which I am missing.

Thanks in advance from the Layers newbie.

P.S. – I’ve added a blank/empty menu to rid myself of the default auto generated menu.

Not a great fix imo though.

Following this. Struggling to do the same.

I don’t want a header menu, as I only have 1 page on the website.

It automatically created a menu item for the 1 page and a hamburger menu button on mobile

For the header menu, making and assigning a blank menu worked for me.

I don’t like that as a solution really, but I can live with it.

I haven’t even tried the mobile menu yet.

The real shipping for my 1st em was 3 days from jp to ca. i require fastessay review now. Canada Post does not seem to be too full, so they held the whole weekend there. They kept two of my articles from bc & hk. I think they are trying to speed up their other rapper service provider by slipping the other one. My recent xpress post experience has changed my mind about it. It took 2 days to get qc and 1 day to deliver it. 3 in total.
