Click and dragging slider bug?

Asked on December 23, 2016 in Troubleshooting.

On the front page slider, if I’m in Customization and I click and drag the image to trigger the next image, the image just fades to the next one as it should.  Once I’m on the live page, if I click and drag, the entire slider goes off the page and it just shows a blank area while the slider still rotates off-screen.

Not sure what’s going on but I’d like that to stop and function as it does in Customization.  Here’s a link to see live what’s happening:

The first thing to understand is the “dragging” is programmed into swiper for touch devices, and is not intended as a click function., which is why arrows or dots are available. On devices without a touchscreen, the dragging should be disabled on the mouse pointer (as it currently is if I test your site on my desktop). For mobile screens, if you swipe. the fade sometimes happens before the image or slide can load, which is a defect of older mobile Safari versions. We are waiting on Swiper to provide the fix for that, which we’ll then implement into future updates of Layers. As a workaround, I recommend not using fade in combination with auto-slide – either allow users to advance the slides manually, or use the auto-slide feature fully.
