Layers Mobile Sidebar: How to Style WordPress Custom Menu Widget to Match Mobile Menu

By default, Layers pulls in your Primary Menu in WordPress, which is whatever menu you set as the Header Menu.  You may want to use a Custom Menu widget in place of this to customize your sidebar or mobile menu, or to add links from the top or secondary menus that are not visible on phone-size screens.  To get the two menus to look the same, or to allow the custom menu widget to display submenu items in this sidebar, you need to add custom styling:
